Claire has danced, performed, choreographed and taught throughout the Pacific Northwest and California for the past 40 years. She has performed at the Hollywood Bowl, with the legendary Cab Calloway, and in Portland with Cirque, a modern dance company, Jann McCauley Company and the Oregon Festival Ballet. In 1978, she pursued her first love; tap, and founded the Skylarks, a Portland tap dance company. Claire loves teaching children and has had students dance with the Bolshi Ballet and other prestigious companies. Currently, Claire teaches children the joy of dance at the Multnomah Arts Center and local preschools. She believes that everyone should dance at least a little every day.
